Class Length:

  • Initial BLS Provider Course takes approximately 3-4 hours (with breaks) to complete, including skills practice and skills testing depending on class size.

  • BLS Renewal Course takes approximately 2-3 hours (with breaks) to complete, including skills practice and testing depending on class size.

  • Skills Only: 30-60min

The American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Course is designed for healthcare professionals and trained first responders who provide care to patients in a wide variety of settings, as well as individuals enrolled in a healthcare training program. Please contact your employer to ensure that you are selecting the correct course.
